In 1939, Guiseppe Olmo, nicknamed "Gepin", retired from a successful cycling career. Straight afterwards he set up a bicycle manufacture firm in Celle Ligure together with his brothers Franco, Giovanni and Michele. The company is still in production today.
During the years many excellent bikes have left Celle Ligure to win races all over the world.
One of the nice 1990s model lines was the 'Olmo Racing'.
The Olmo Racing road bike we present here is based on one of these frames. But it is also developed further. The frame from lugged Columbus Thronic double butted tubing still sports its beautiful and typical 90s original paintwork.
As for the parts, it's equipped with Campagnolo Mirage groupset with Campagnolo Racing Triple derailleurs. That also hits, that the drive train is in 3x8 configuration, which guarantees, that you will be able to conquer even the steepest hills with relative ease.
Commutes, weekend rides or longer hilly tours will be more fun than ever!
