Description
Olympia Cicli Sanremo classic road bicycle from the 1970s.
Olympia was founded in 1893 and is indeed the second oldest Italian bike manufacturer still producing bicycles. In 1959 the brand was acquired by Antonio and Pasquale Fontana who at that time already owned the brand Sanremo, among the others. The company is nowadays located in Piove di Sacco (Padova) and since 2013 has also owned the Scapin brand. The frame is made of Columbus SL tubes and is fully equipped with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record group set. What impresses is the attention to details. This Olympia Sanremo shows indeed lots of engraved details as the head tube, the crank set, the shifters and the brake levers.
Definitely a very interesting classic road bike, perfect for L´Eroica!
