Description
La-creme-de-la-creme of craftsmanship from Turin. Corrado Paratella "tailored" extremely fine steel frames for forty years, from the the late 1940s until the late 1980s.
Quality and not quantity. Mr. Paratella's atelier in Turin soon became a meeting point of enthusiasts who were keen to ride his handcrafted steel frames. It's said that he produced only up to 20/25 frames per year. Needless to say how rare and valuable Paratella bicycles are nowadays.
According to the frame number engraved on the seat lug, this Paratella was the 12th frame manufactured in 1981. Made of Reynolds 531 tubes and painted in a typical blue, this bicycle shows the typical austere elegance of Paratella's works, where decorations give way to clean lines and filled lugs. The bicycle is equipped with an appropriate era Campagnolo Super Record groupset.
If you are looking for something really rare and authentic, this Paratella won't disappoint you!
