Patelli Supercorsa 50th Anniversary Bike 1980s

Located in Bologna, Patelli was an artisan who has been manufacturing bicycles and bike tools since the 1940s. Attention to details and uniqueness are the keywords of any Patelli work. Typical of small Italian builders, Patelli frames illustrate meticulous and superb manufacturing with pantographed details, on both lugs and tubes.

This Patelli Supercorsa particularly embodies the essence of Patelli's approach to frame building. Manufactured with Columbus SL tubes, this bike has a lot of refined details. Such as an internal cable routing for rear brake and shifting cables or engraved seat stays and a fully chromed fork and rear triangle.

All parts have been serviced in our workshop, meaning that the bike is ready for the next ride. The right choice for the cyclist who loves details and fine craftsmanship. Rare, Italian heritage at its finest!

The frameset is equipped with an absolute set of jewellery regarding groupsets. It is the famous Campagnolo 50th anniversary gruppo.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of his company, Campagnolo released an initial number of 5.000 pieces of this extraordinary groupset. In the production they made an excessive use of titanium an golden emblems. And every groupset got its very own number engraved.

Number one went straight to Campagnolo's own museum. Number two was presented to the pope.
In the meantime Campagnolo began to produce more of the sought-after anniversary groupsets to meet the expectations of the market. They just stopped when the number of 15.000 groupsets was achieved

We think that the groupset gives this Patelli the special touch which turns a great bike into a perfect one.
