Description
Pavarin classic road bicycle from the 1980s. Achille Pavarin is an Italian expert frame builder from Calcinate del Pesce (Varese, northern Italy). In 1974 he decided to open his own bike store and to produce custom steel frames.
As many other Pavarin frames, this one is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship and was built by Giovanni Losa, an expert frame builder from Erba (close to Milan) who also built several frames for Cinelli (including the Super Corsa from the 1990s until 2008) and Magni, among the others. That is easily recognisable from the refined engravings on the lugs - the particularity of each Losa´s frame. The frame is made of Columbus SL tubes and shows many refined details. First of all the seat tube has a deepening for the rear wheel in order to shorten the wheel base and to give the frame a more agressive racing geometry.
This Pavarin is furthermore equipped with Campagnolo Nuovo Record and Super Record parts, Fir EL40 clincher rims and a Selle Italia Turbo saddle.A true classic road bicycle for participating in L´Eroica!
