Description
Peloso was a small Italian manufacturer from Alessandria, a city somewhere between Turin and Milan. He concentrated on high-end custom made bicycles and therefore the production was very limited. And so it is very hard to find some of those beautiful Peloso bikes and frames these days.
The custom-fit approach is also visible in our Peloso Road bike from the 1960s.
The bike was built up as a a version with a single chainset and a Campagnolo barcon shifter for the Record rear derailleur. How simple, convenient and cool is that?
The parts are excellent as is the quality of the frame, which radiates more dignity and taste than a dozen British gentlemen at a tea party.
This is a bike which is almost nicer to look at than to ride - and not because it does not ride well. Certainly a bike for connoisseurs.
