Description
Founded in 1882 in Sochaux, France, Peugeot is one of the oldest bicycle manufacturers in the world. Throughout their history, Peugeot produced all kinds of bikes ranging from town bikes to pure-bred racing machines.
The Peugeot Competition was a racing machine from around the turn of the century. It is made from a Columbus Brain Tubeset with an oversized and triangular shaped downtube. This makes the bike very stiff, while at the same time offering the superior ride comfort ob a steel framed bike.
Our Peugeot Competition is set up with a chic and reliable Campagnolo Veloce Groupset. The triple crankset provides a broad range of gears and the Ergopower levers allow you to shift without taking your hands off the Handlebars.
All in all, a great choice for commuting or sportive rides and a budget-friendly entry to the world of road bikes.
