Description
In the late 1980s, Peugeot launched a series of Aluminium road bikes to gain a foothold in the race for new materials in frame building.
One of these models was the Peugeot Cosmic.
The highlight of its frameset was the Pecheny system which was basically to press the aluminium lugs onto 5086 aluminium tubes, unlike Vitus – which used to glue lugs into tubes.
We gave the bike a check to make sure that it is rideable and think it would be good as one of those bikes which are used to tackle short ways in the city and around the hood.
