Description
Founded in 1882 in Sochaux, France, Peugeot is one of the oldest bicycle manufacturers in the world. Throughout their history, Peugeot produced all kinds of bikes ranging from town bikes to pure-bred racing machines.
The Peugeot Competition 400 was a racing machine from the early 1990s. It is made from a Columbus Cromor Custom tubeset with a slightly oversized top tube and an aero fork crown. The tubes have mainly been internally soldered, which leaves the connection points slick and clean from the outside.
Our Peugeot Competition 400 is set up with a chic and legendarily reliable Shimano RX100 groupset.
With the 3x7 drivetrain of this bike, you can easily get around even rather hilly terrain.
All in all, a great choice for commuting or sportive rides and a budget-friendly entry to the world of vintage steel road bikes.
