Peugeot PY10 S High Class Road Bicycle 1983

Peugeot Road bikes have always been built with the needs of amateur racers in mind, who are best served with a strong, long lasting frame and reliable components.
Our Peugeot PY10 S is no exception, but here Peugeot went a step further and created a frame from unusually light Reynolds tubing.
The tubing which has been used for the frame is the legendary and race-proven Reynolds 531 but here the walls have been drawn to a thinner gauge. The qualities of the frame are undeniable and it is not just for the material used, but also how it has been manufactured. You will find beautiful details like the arch-shaped brake bridge, which testifies the amount of care put into this piece.

As for the parts, some of the highest class French componentry ,mainly consisting of Spidel parts, can be found on this bike. Certainly an interesting detail is the directly mounted front derailleur - something quite rare on these bikes.
And you can also find an extra rare and lightweight San Marco Concor saddle with titanium rails, as well as Peugeot Professional hubs and pair of Super Champion rims.
