Description
Peugeot was one of those early bicycle manufacturers which grew big and successful during the 20th century. Their first bike was already built around 1882 but their reputation grew mainly due to their racing activities from 1903 until 1983.
In this time they managed to win the Tour de France 10 times and a number Championships, Classics and one day races. Who has not seen the pictures of Tom Simpson and Eddy Merckx, winning the World Championships 1965 and 1967 on a Peugeot?
This particular Peugeot PX10 LE from 1975 is one of those traditional bicycles. It radiates all that aura of reliability for which the models of Peugeot were known and highly regarded worldwide. The frameset is made of Reynolds 531 butted tubes and is fitted with typical French parts, such as Stronglight, Mafac and Simplex.
Arrived at Steel Vintage Bikes in mostly original condition, the bike has been carefully inspected and serviced by our mechanics and thus is ready to hit the roads.
Pure French style. Suitable for Eroica events.
