Description
Peugeot was one of those early bicycle manufacturers which grew big and succsessful during the 20th century. Their first bike was already built around 1882. But their reputation grew mainly due to their racing activities. Peugeot sponsored racing squads and cyclists from 1903 until 1983. In this time they managed to win the Tour de France 10 times and numerous championships, classics and one day races. Who has not seen the pictures of Tom Simpson and Eddy Merckx, winning the World Championships 1965 and 1967 on a Peugeot PX 10? Here is yet another Peugeot classic. A Peugeot PY-10S from 1983.
The tubes are Reynolds 531 butted tubes, a good choice for high class frames since the 1930s. The components on this bicycle are for the most part high quality Shimano parts with Shimano 600 shifters and brakes.
Whether you need a bicycle for speedy city tours or casual weekend rides, this PY-10S delivers for an affordable price!
