Description
.
Since the double of Vuelta and Giro d'Italia in 1981 at the latest, the manufacture from Treviso has been up there rivalling the other top road bike producers.
One of their most popular bikes in the late 1980s and early 1990s was the
The Pinarello Asolo. It started as the 'best bang for your buck' model and over the years saw several upgrades which pushed it further towards the top of the line models.
Manufactured with light and sturdy Columbus tubes, our Pinarello Asolo features internal brake cable routing and a typical chromed fork.
This superb, elegant Pinarello arrived at Steel Vintage Bikes in original condition and underwent a full inspection in our workshop.
The groupset on this bike is the great Campagnolo Chorus. These parts in their first version were introduced in 1987.
Being of a different design than the C-Record, the visually very appealing Chorus soon became Campagnolo's most popular componentry.
Just for the wheelset you find an absolute top notch C-Record one.
The right choice for friends of fine Italian racing bikes and Pinarello fans. Suitable for all kinds of rides including L'Eroica races!
