Description

From his starts as a professional rider in the 1940s and 50s up to the grand tour victories achieved on bikes which were built by his company, Giovanni Pinarello's life has contributed to the cycling sport.

.

Since the double of Vuelta and Giro d'Italia in 1981 at the latest, the manufacture from Treviso has been up there rivalling the other top road bike producers.

One of their bikes in typical early 1980s red is our Pinarello here

Manufactured with strong Columbus tubes, it features chromed seat stay caps, cutout lugs and a typical chromed fork.


This superb, elegant Pinarello arrived at Steel Vintage Bikes in original condition and underwent a full inspection in our workshop.
The groupset on this bike is a great Campagnolo Nuovo Record. The evergreen of cycling history with many of the parts being in production for 3 decades.
Just for the brakes you find an ultra light Universal 77 set.


The right choice for friends of fine Italian racing bikes and Pinarello fans. Suitable for all kinds of rides including L'Eroica races!
