Description
In the 80s, the big American MTB wave reached also European shores with the full force. European brands couldn't stay behind for long and so even the most established road bike manufacturers started to develop and introduce so called ATB (all terrain bike) models. Pinarello was no exception with the Antelao model. Others like Cristallo, Giovo or Maxim followed shortly after.
And here we present you one of those bikes, the Pinarello Cristallo classic MTB. It is based on a very stable frame made of Columbus Cromor OR tubes and unlike many American rivals it is still lugged. Even the robust fork has an elegant crown with Pinarello pantographes. The colours refer clearly to the early 90s and these paintjobs were aptly called "Fantasy bianco" by Pinarello.
As for the components, we have fitted it with a slightly more modern Shimano XT parts in a one-by configuration. You will also find the Mavic SSC rims, Shimano LX brakes or a set of brand new tires.
For Pinarello fans, vintage-MTB aficionados and for those who like something a bit more special.
