Description
Here we present an Italian bullet called Pinarello Prologo.
It was designed for racing against the clock and therefore it shows some really special features.
The frame is made of exquisite Pinarello Dolmen tubes with aero profiles. Down tube and seat tube for example, have a very distinct teardrop shape and some tubes have a very unusual tapering towards the lugs as well. The profile of the chain stays is enforcing the structure. Thus the frame is extremely rigid and has a low drag at the same time.
Additionally, the rider is forced into an aerodynamic position which saves important seconds on time trials.
The racing orientation of this bike is highlighted by the original team Banesto paint scheme.
As for the components, you will find Campagnolo Chorus parts, ITM cockpit with time trial extensions, Selle Italia Turbomatic 2 saddle and off course the iconic Campagnolo Shamal wheels. On those are mounted brand new premium and super fast Vittoria Corsa tires.
