Description
We are proud to present to you a very special item.
This one of the Pinarello Dogma 65.1 Think 2 bikes on which Sir Bradley Wiggins rode and won the Tour of California 2014.
We do not have to talk much about the palmarès of this cycling legend. Multiple world champion, multiple olympic champion, the first British to win the Tour de France, world hour record holder...that should be enough for now.
He famously began his career on the track, changed to the road and is now concentrating on the track again.
His last major success on the road has been at the 2014 Tour of California, where he rode this very Pinarello to victory.
The bike with it distinct shape has already become an icon of frame design or as Pinarello calls it a "[...]myth. The bike of the champions, the icon of Road Bikes, a name that means, everywhere in the world of Cycling the maximum."
The excellent frame contains everything that a rider could dream of: performance, stiffness, explosive power, precision, all with a unique design.
For the Dogma, the best carbon fiber available was used; Torayca 65Ton HM 1K with Nanoalloy technology, only available to Pinarello.
The appendix "Think2" in its name, means substantial adaptation to electronic groupsets. With a single frame you can indeed switch from mechanical to electronic groupsets or vice versa, without any problem.
Sir Bradley Wiggins' bike is, of course, equipped with a complete Dura Ace groupset with Di2 electronic shifting. The sattelite shifters have been stripped down to pure necessary functionality.
To make you completely freak out, this gem of recent cycling history comes with an original yellow jersey of the 2014 Tour of California, signed by King Wiggo himself!
If this is not a treat what is?
