Pinarello Montello classic racing bicycle from the 1990s. Produced between 1983 and the early 1990s, the Pinarello Montello is certainly one of the most beloved classic racing bicycles of all times.
Recognising a true Montello is easy as fall in love with it at first sight. As this model in very good condition shows, the main features of this Italian racing machine are the bridgeless bottom bracket shell, the internal routed rear brake cable and the Columbus SLX tubing.
Back in those days - as nowadays - this road bicycle was well-known for its stiffness, comfort and reliability. According to the head badge, the down tube sticker and the 130mm rear spacing, this Pinarello Montello dates back to the early 1990s, as well as its Shimano Dura Ace 7400 groupset.
A dark green paint, a Regal suede saddle and a Brooks leather bar tape make it also a very elegant classic bicycle! Very rare...
