Giovanni 'Nani' Pinarello, born in 1922, was one of the whole generation of riders from child rich families who chose a career in cycling. In the era of Coppi, Bartali and Bobet, he was quite a successful amateur rider with loads of won races which eventually earned him a contract as professional rider.
The year of 1953 then saw him making his dream come true - by using money which he got as a compensation for handing over his Giro d'Italia starting place for the setup of a bicycle shop and manufacture in his hometown Treviso.
Some 40 years later, Pinarello was producing some of the best frames on the market and also frequently triumphant in grand tours. The offer was quite wide ranging from the entry-level models to the racing specials for the biggest races. Our Pinarelo Olé classic road bicycle was aiming for an ambitious amateur riders. Based on stable CMn (carbon-manganese) Pinarello Arché steel tubes with traditional non-ovesized profile the classic looks is underlined by the lugged construction.
As for the parts, you there will be Campagnolo Avanti 8-speed groupset at your disposal. The gears are operated from the levers on the bars and the rest also secures a comfortable ride and the calipers are stopping you briskly by the Ambrosio rims in perfect condition. We have also exchanged most of the wearing parts for quality brand new ones like the tyres, chain, cables, housing, bartape and even the saddle.
This Pianrello Olé is an authentic 90s road bike which in its fiery red coat will certainly appeal to many cycling fans.

Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original with some scratches (larger one on the left chainstay) and abrasions. Some decals are peeling off. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones. You can expect the bicycle in fantastic riding condition and ready to go for your vintage bike ride.

SVB quality and attention to detail is second to none! Fantastic customer service, very accommodating and helpful. An error was made in delivery and the SVB team efficiently sorted the problem the same day. I was gifted the original item and sent a brand new item, dispatched the same day. Lovely products and very helpful staff. 5*

Just bought a second vintage classic bike from Steel Vintage. A great bike at an excellent price and they couldn't have been more helpful. Their fantastic service was every bit as good as before.
Placed the on-line order late on Saturday evening and the bike was delivered to me here in the UK the following Thursday morning.

Geeky Eroica Cool. I bought the "old-school" Italian made bike shoes. They were delivered in good condition and in a quick timely fashion. They're geeky cool, just like I hoped and they're put together very well (stitched nicely, no glues where it shouldn't be) light and fit properly!

Steel Vintage Bikes are such an excellent company to deal with. They are passionate about vintage steel bikes. They have in my opinion very fair prices and very obliging to deal with. Packaging is great and no hassle even for delivery way down here in New Zealand.

The overall service provided by Steel Vintage Bikes is always first rate. Delivery and packaging is always timely and well done. I cannot fault Steel Vintage and have been a customer for a number of years.. Plan to get to Berlin hopefully in the near future, stop in for a some Kaffee und Kirchen and a bike geek mooch around the shop.
