Description
Pinarello Special road bicycle 1970s. Here we present a rare golden jewel from Treviso. This beautiful classic bicycle was made by Pinarello in the 1970s. The frame is made of light and sturdy Columbus SL tubes and shows many fine details like a chromed flat fork crown, refined lugs or Pinarello logos, precisely engraved. This exemplar's paintwork has been furthermore carefully and sensitively restored by a professional painter, who thoroughly respected all attributes of 70s Pinarello bicycles. And the result is really staggering.
But it is not just the frame, which sets this beauty apart - also the equipment it sports, deserves an admiration. The very best components from its era like a Campagnolo Super Record groupset, a Pinarello pantographed Cinelli stem or the sought after Cinelli Unicanitor saddle match the frame perfectly, indeed. Another highlight are the superb and lightweight Mavic 'Record du Monde de l'Heure' tubular rims.
A very special bicycle to participate in L'Eroica with or to enrich a classical bicycle collection. The great Pinarello 1970s Columbus frame, immaculate condition, the very best components of its time and a timeless style - it doesn't get much better than this!
