Description

Not only is the Raleigh one of the oldest cycling brands of the world, it also is popular for its racing heritage. At the peak of sportive triumph stood the Dutch cycling Team TI Raleigh which was extremely successful from the 1970s to the 1980s. Many famous champions rode in this équipe, among them Joop Zoetemelk, Jan Raas, Gerrie Knetemann, Hennie Kuiper, Dave Lloyd, Urs Freuler, Johan van der Velde and Didi Thurau.

Despite their engagement in professional cycling, the sportive amateur bike remained the backbone of their line, and this peace is one of them.
Our elegant racer was built using quality Reynolds 501 tubing and was subsequently equipped with a well thought through componentry.
Parts include Swiss Weinmann brakes, legendary slant-prallalelogram shifting by Suntour and an excellent triple Chainset by T.A.
The latter makes the Sirocco so versatile that it can be used for fast rides as well as spinning up steep climbs without major effort.

If you are looking for a bike for an everyday ride, practicality and authentic classic look, this one could be your choice. And it compliant to Eroica rules as well!
