Description

Baronchelli, Roger De Vlaeminck, Franco Ballerini and Moreno Argentin are some of the riders who rode frames expertly and meticulously built by Marco Rossin, one of the best Italian frame builders in the 1970s and 1980s.
His career started at the Colnago factory which he left in 1974 to establish his own business together with Vittorio and Giuseppe Ghezzi, Inzaghi e Garbelli – patrons and managers of the ICLAS and ITLA teams by that time.

Take a leap to the year 1989: The music was fun diverse and playful, the Berlin Wall came down the Iron Curtain melted. But in Italy some other metal became something beautiful and special: this Rossin RC4000 road bike which has been made of strong Columbus Cromor tubes. These have been connected by classic lugs. But other wise the bike does not look that classic. Vibrant colours dominate the frame and give it this unmistakable late 1980s flair. We absolutely love it!

As for the equipment, this Italian frame has Italian componentry from Campagnolo - in fact it is a first generation Campagnolo Chorus groupset which is in as nice a condition as the frame itself.

This Rossin has everything if you want a serious ride with authentic late 1980s style. The frame is great and with matching Campagnolo parts which work pretty well. Serviced and when needed, parts like chain, tires or indeed the wheel set has been changed for new (or NOS) ones.
