Description
Baronchelli, Roger De Vlaeminck, Franco Ballerini and Moreno Argentin are some of the riders who rode frames expertly and meticulously built by Marco Rossin, one of the best Italian frame builders in the 1970s and 1980s.
His career started at the Colnago factory which he left in 1974 to establish his own business together with Vittorio and Giuseppe Ghezzi, Inzaghi e Garbelli – patrons and managers of ICLAS and ITLA teams by that time.
Carefully manufactured and with notable attention to detail, 1970s, 1980s & 1990s Rossin steel racing bikes are icons of the finest Italian bike manufacturing.
The Rossin Strada Professional was the top of the line model of Rossin catalogue. Its frame has been made of light Columbus SLX tubes ("Superbutted" tube set designed for professional racing featuring for example the spiral reinforcements inside the tubes). This frame is a heap of interesting details like the fine engraved lugs, smooth fork crown but most of all that impressive bottom bracket lug.
As for the components the bicycle has been set up with a Campagnolo Chorus groupset. Some other fine parts then round this very fine build. Brand new Rolls saddle or the Chorus hubs freshly laced with a pair of Mavic CP30 clincher rims.
The bicycle underwent a complete check in our workshop. Thus, it looks really splendid and is ready to ride.
