Description

Giuseppe Saronni was a fascinating cyclist. He won "Milano - San Remo", World Cycling Championship at Goodwood and Giro d'Italia twice. Saronni was also the famous rival of another great champion of that era - Francesco Moser. Saronni bicycles were made by Colnago in the factory in Cambiago (Italy), as the iconic ace of cubs on the decals suggests.

The Sarroni bikes were usually of medium level, made of decent tubing and with some nice details. This one is a bit different though. When it comes to quality of materials and attention to detail, is is on par with the Colnago cousins made in the same factory. This frame is made of light Columbus SL tubes connected with nice lugs and many fine details like the Sarroni seat stay caps of the chromed fork crown.

The equippment is equally noble. The Campagnolo Nuovo Record parts have been nicely pantographed and partialy milled. Even the leather saddle has been Saronni branded.

A high class bicycle made by Colnago experts which will not dissapoint in any cycling event or indeed any ride.
