Description

This Serena is a rare vintage bicycle which was made by the small Italian manufacturer Serena. Situated in the City of Brescia in northern Italy, Serena made some really excellent bikes.
Though he started by building the tricycles for the street sweepers of Brescia, he soon gained a lot of expertise regarding bespoke racing machines.
Not only was he responsible for some great Battaglin bikes, he also gave advice on the geometry of Dancelli frames. Roberto Visentini won the Giro d'Italia on one of his bikes in 1986!
Piero Serena truely was a pundit of frame building. If you take a look at the accurately applied fine lugs on this bike, there is no way not to recognise immediately that this is a master's work. The frame and fork and parts have very nice details like cutouts or pantographs! The bike is equipped with lovely vintage parts from the same era. And the best parts possible at that:
a Campagnolo Super Record groupset including the rare 1978 four-hole front derailleur.
This is a lovely Italian bicycle from the 1970s for someone who prefers to have something special.
