Description

In the 1970s and 1980s several bike manufacturers tried to build new frames from aluminium alloys. The ones which were the most successful ones in road racing were Alan and Vitus. They often produced bikes for other high class brands or delivered some of their parts to them. The influence of Alan on some Colnago models is unmistakeable.
Our Sideral (a name which does not only contains the letters al for aluminium but also means star-sent) seems to have profited from designs both of Alan and Vitus. The lug design is pretty much a copy of Alan's Record model while the cable routing resembles the one of a Vitus.

In any way our classic lugged Aluminium Sideral is as elegant as it is technically advanced.
To make sure that the bike works as nicely as it looks, a Campagnolo shifting, Gipiemme bearings and Modolo brakes have been installed.
With this setup the bike is not only good for any kind of riding, it also fits the bill for L'Eroica races and other classic cycling events.
