A rare classic bicycle built in the 1970s by Stelio Belletti, undoubtedly one of the most creative and skilled frame builders of all time, who introduced the process of TiG welding (Tungsten Inert Gas) to the bicycle industry in the 1970s. He learnt it from his father Antenore, a planes fuselages welder.
The master manufactured roughly 1000 frames. Therefore each Stelbel bicycle is apiece of art that would enrich any vintage cycling collection!
Every Stelbel bike is surprisingly stiff and a flawless piece of seamless connections.This beautiful lugless Stelbel frame is a true craftsmanship masterpiece, as well as the unique fork with the iconic Stelbel crown. It is said that Stelio spend two days of work alone on every one of his famous forks.
