Taldo Classic Steel Road Bike 1990s

This Taldo Road Bike was made by an artisan in Milan. In fact it has a custom geometry and the tubes are a mix of high class Columbus steel products.
Though the decals proudly state that the frame was built from Columbus MAX tubing, it appears that probably only the chainstays might be MAX whereas the rest of the tubes seems to be EL-OS or Thron.
The frame with a rather long top tube would fit riders who like to ride their bikes 'compact style' with a long seatpost. The fact that the tubes are excellently TIG-welded makes sure that the construction does not get too heavy whilst containing more than enough strength in the joints.

As for the components, a legendarily reliable Shimano 600-Ultegra in excellent condition does its part to make the riding on our Taldo safe and flawlessly functioning.


The quality of the bike is outstanding and guarantees many years of commuting, weekend rides and occasional responsive sprints.
