While many bicycle builders have been offering different quality ranges to meet the expectations of a wider circle of customers, Irio Tommasini has never done anything alike.

The artisan frame manufacture from Grosseto, Tuscany knows nothing but one category of frames - top class. And what else would you expect from someone who worked together with the giants of frame building Faliero Masi and Giuseppe Pelà?

His expertise and relentless quality-oriented craftsmanship found him fame and fans all around the globe, as did his beautifully executed frames.

Just as our Tommasini Tecno Fire - racing lightweight frame which bonds both performance and aesthetic qualities. It is based on very advanced Columbus Foco tubes TIG welded together. This oversized tubing is perhaps what gave this model its name, "foco" means fire in Italian after all. In the front you will find a carbon fork by the French specialist Look. But it is not just the material what makes for a great frame and riding characteristics. Tommasini used its expertise to achieve a balanced geometry and of course a lot of skill. Fine details like lugged dropouts, ornamental seat lug or the sheer quality of the welds testify just that.

Our Tommasini has been equipped with top level Shimano Dura-Ace 7400 groupset with STI shifters on the bars, which suits the frame rather well. And it certainly underlines the riding quality since it runs like a clockwork. It is then completed with fine parts like Mavic rims or the FRM milled stem.
