Description

Here we present a classic road bicycle from Anton "Toni" Redl senior and his son Toni junior, expert artisans of the last century from Munich, Germany.

Our Redl Champion du Monde from the 1960s is definitely built by Toni Redl Senior.
The frame building legend from Bavaria started constructing bikes as early as the 1930s. He somehow made it through the Nazi-times unharmed despite being 'not on good terms' with them, to say the least.
Immediately after the war he started to build bikes again and became one of the most popular experts in southern Germany. Amateur world championships were won on his bikes, so their toughness is as proven as their beauty is obvious.

The frame of our Redl is made of Reynolds 531 tubes and is equipped with some of the best 1960s components. First of all the complete Campagnolo Record shifting, hubs and seatpost (first generation) and the iconic Universal Mod. 61 center pull brakes (It was not before 1969 that Campagnolo released the Record brakes). And then there is the magnificent Stronglight Super Competition Chainset in an incredibly rare 180mm length.

Despite its age, this Redl is in very good condition and shows lots of refined details, and nice Nervex Professional lugs.

The perfect choice for connoisseurs and collectors.

Completely and thoroughly checked, this bike is ready to be ridden instantly. If you are looking for a large and unique 1960s bike or an Eroica steed, get this one!
