Description

Here we present a classic road bicycle from Anton "Toni" Redl senior, expert artisan of the last century from Munich, Germany.

Our Redl Champion du Monde is an absolute top class machine of its time.
Redl, the frame building legend from Bavaria started constructing bikes as early as the 1930s. He somehow made it through the Nazi-times unharmed despite being 'not on good terms' with the regime, to say the least.
Immediately after the war he started to build bikes again and became one of the most popular experts in southern Germany. Amateur world championships were won on his bikes, so their toughness is as proven as their beauty is obvious.

The frame of our bike is made of Reynolds 531 tubes and Nervex Professional lugs.
It is equipped with the best late 1960s components. First of all the complete - back then still new - Campagnolo Nuovo Record shifting, early Record hubs, chainset, seatpost and bearings.
Special is the early Nuovo Record derailleur with its 'Patent' mark.
But what is even rarer and exceptional, are the brakes:
this Redl sports a complete set of first generation Campagnolo Nuovo Record brakes. These plain calipers without engraving are as rare as hen's teeth and searched for by many collectors.

Despite its age, our bike is in very good condition and shows lots of refined details.

A rare opportunity and perfect choice for connoisseurs.

Completely and thoroughly checked and lubed, this bike is ready to be ridden instantly.
If you are looking for a rare and beautiful late 1960s bike for your collection or Eroica rides, you will have a hard time finding a more top notch one than our Redl!

Simply the best of everything.
