Valdenaire was founded in 1906 as a distributor for cycling and farming equipment in the Vosges region in Eastern France.
Over the years the company managed to grow and established their own bicycle line and brand. Many of their products went to be labeled as shop-branded bikes but they always were able to sell the bikes under their own name, too.
One of these bikes is our Valdenaire road bike from the 1990s. The main triangle of the frame is made of Italian Columbus Aelle tubing, which is already a hint that this bike was meant to be of serious quality without using the most expensive material of professional level road bikes. A bike for the amateur, stable and affordable.
The components mirror this impression, with a complete Shimano Exage groupset and some nice additions like the Mavic rims, 3ttt cockpit, Selle San Marco Regal saddle or indeed the brand new tires, bartape, cables, housing and chain.
The reliability of frames and parts make this one a great choice for commuting or general frequent use.
