Description
In 1947 Giovanni Taverna starded a small family bussiness near Padova, Northern Italy. Soon he became a contract builder for the most prestigious Italian brands and until early 90s, some Colnago, Cinelli, Pinarello, Wilier or F. Moser frames were made by him and later also by his son.
Here is one of these frames hand made by Taverna family. It is a ladies model with anglais geometry and the steel tubes are connected neatly by lugs, some of which are even chromed. This bike is no homebody and it feels best where it belongs - on the streets and tarmac. The frame is still stable and sound, just the original paintjob with its scratches and light scars can tell the stories.
It is quite well equipped too - with Campagnolo derailleur and shifters, Modolo brakes, Ofmega headset or Rigida clincher rims this Vetta will carry you wherewer you want. Regardless if on everyday rides or weekend trips, it will be in style.
