Description

Mario Vicini was a teammate of Giusppe Olmo and Cino Cinelli in 1940 but soon left the competitions to grab torch and file. He started manufacturing high-quality frames in Cesena, his hometown, in 1942.

Being a small artisan producer, Vicini did not build many bicycles which however became very popular among enthusiasts worldwide for their quality and typical attention to details.

By taking a closer look at this Vicini Cromovelato it is immediately clear why Vicini bikes are still beloved by collectors and vintage bike lovers from all over the world. The frameset dates back to the mid-80s and is made of Columbus SL tubes which underwent a full chroming. A thin red coat then creates a very typical translucent effect called "cromovelato". The cherry on this cake are the refined engravings to the head tube, fork crown and lugs.

Regarding the components, this Vicini is fully equipped with appropriate period correct Campagnolo Super Record components. Just the best of everything! The bicycle has been completely inspected and adjusted by our mechanics. Hence it is ready to ride!

A vintage bicycle for enthusiasts who love details and craftsmanship.
