Description
Vitus 992 classic aluminium road bicycle from 1992. Vitus is known as the pioneer of glued and screwed aluminium racing frames. Despite the initial skepticism due to the frame flexibility, the French brand achieved several winnings in competitions.
The most famous model was certainly the Vitus 992 - released in 1992 as developing of the 979 model - which has been ridden in 1992 by Sean Kelly in an epic Milan-Sanremo he won chasing Moreno Argentin during a crazy descent.
The frame and fork are made of Dural aluminium tubes which are glued in Vitus aluminium lugs. This Vitus is in perfect condition and is equipped with high-quality parts from the 1990s, as Campagnolo Veloce and Ambrosio 700C Balance clincher rims.
A piece of cycling history and developing! For true enthusiasts...
