Description
Here we present a stunning bicycle from the early 1990s. Vitus made themselves a name as France's leading manufacturers of high-quality frame tubing. Their products were on a par with Reynolds and Columbus. And when the new material came by, Vitus didn't remain behind. Carbon was already proven as a bicycle frame material, but it was still in form of tubes connected together by some additional elements. In the late 80s and early 90s many manufacturers experimented with more advanced solution - the carbon momocoque. From the beginning, it was difficult to produce the frames in high volumes, different sizes and the whole manufacturing process was very very expensive. It was a challange.
But it allowed for different shapes, characteristics and geometry alterations, as this Vitus ZX1 Early Carbon Monocoque Bike displays. The frame shape is stunning and the paintjob is eqally bold, as it should be on a propper 90s racer. It is equipped with the top racing level Shimano Dura-Ace gruopset with fine parts like Mavic sytem headset, 3ttt cockpit, Flite titanium saddle or a set of nice Vittoria Rubino Pro tires.
The bike has been checked in our workshop and it is ready to go. Perfect choice for rides in the typical 90s style!
