Description
Undisputedly, the classic Wilier Triestina is one of the most beautiful racing bicycles ever manufactured. These bikes are always strinking, not just because of the precisely crafted details but also because of the iconic copper colored "Ramata" paintjob.
This particular bike is slightly different from the standard ones though. In fact, when it comes to appearance or elaborous details, it certainly overshines them.
The most obvious is the patjob, off course. Instead of typical Ramata this one has the green cromovelato paintjob. The frame itself is also quite different. The routing for the shifting cables has been neatly hidden inside the frame and the shifters themselves moved to the top of the down tube.
This special frame deserved also special components. It has been equipped with nothing less then one of the holy grails of classic componentry - Campagnolo 50th Anniversary groupset. It's golden details really compliment the green shiny paintjob. And what's more, this is one of the early groups from the first emission with serial number 2722.
An outstanding bicycle which could be kept in a collection but will be a real headturner at any classic cycling event as well.
