Description
Although it is not the most winning bicycle of all time, it is fair enough say that Wilier Triestina vintage bikes are some the most beautiful racing bicycles ever manufactured.
Known as "Ramata" amongst enthusiasts - Ramata, feminine for Ramato which in Italian means copper plated - Wilier Triestina have appealed collectors around the globe as few other bicycles.
This particular Wilier Triestina is a rare track version of the more common road frame. The paintwork is certainly the highlight of this Wilier Triestina Pista: it consists of a paint coat over chromed tubes - Columbus SL in this case - which creates a unique translucent paint job.
Re the components, the bike is fully fitted with an original Campagnolo Record Pista Gruppo which has been thoroughly serviced in our workshop.
A must have for any avid collector. Hard to find, especially with original Ramato paintwork. More than a bicycle, simply a piece of art.
