Description
Wilier Triestina can be lesser known than Colnago, Bianchi or De Rosa, but the sheer beauty of these copper colored bikes is definitely up there. Their bikes became famous partly due to a flamboyant translucent paintjob on chromed frames.
These were usually orange and called "Ramata" amongst enthusiasts - Ramata, feminine for Ramato which in Italian means copper plated.
Our Wilier Triestina classic road bike is a classic example why these bikes are so high praised among cycling fans. Typical details like the fine patographes even on the seat stays or clean cutout lugs are simply beautiful.
And beautiful are also the components. The Campagnolo Record Titanium groupset consists of the best parts available in the second half of the 90s.The 9-speed shifting works perfectly, brakes are crisp and it looks so classic on top.
A fine Italian bicycle which truly shines under the sunlight.
