Description
May there be more famous bikes - it still is fair enough to say that the Wilier Triestinas are some of the most beautiful racing bicycles ever manufactured.
Their bikes became famous partly due to a flamboyant translucent paintjob on chromed frames.
These were usually orange and called "Ramata" amongst enthusiasts - Ramata, feminine for Ramato which in Italian means copper plated. The Wilier Triestina has always appealed to collectors around the globe like few other bicycles.
The frame on this particular one is made of light Columbus SL tubes and what makes it quite special is the fact, that it is still in original condition and sports the translucent paintjob made almost 40 years ago. Regarding the components this one is equipped with a complete Campagnolo Super Record gruppo, the top of the line parts of the era.
Completely serviced in our workshop, it is ready for the next ride.
