Description
May there be more famous bicycle brands and models - it still is fair enough to say that the Wilier Triestinas are some of the most beautiful racing bicycles ever manufactured.
Their bikes became famous partly because they sponsored a successful cycling team from the 1940s on, which included Stars like Fiorenzo Magni, Marco Pantani and maurizio Fondriest. But their bikes became also popular due to a very special flamboyant and translucent paintjob on chromed frames.
These were usually orange and called "Ramata" amongst enthusiasts - which in Italian means copper plated. The Wilier Triestina has always appealed to collectors around the globe like few other bicycles.
The frame on this particular one is made of slightly oversized Columbus tubes which makes the bike very strong yet still comparably lightweight. These tubes are then connected by beautifully engraved lugs.
As for the components, is is equipped with Campagnolo Super Record groupset, the classy high-end solution for bikes.
- Just the best of everything!
