Description
Although it is not the most winning bicycle of all time, it is fair enough saying that the Wilier Triestina Superleggera is one of the most beautiful racing bicycles ever manufactured.
Known as "Ramata" amongst enthusiasts - Ramata, feminine for Ramato which in Italian means copper plated - the Wilier Triestina Superleggera left the factory in Rossano Veneto in the late 1970s. Since then it has appealed collectors around the globe as few other bicycles.
The paintwork is certainly the highlight of this Wilier Triestina Superleggera: it consists of a paint coat over chromed tubes - Columbus SL in this case - which creates a unique translucent paint job. This model dates back to 1983 and is in original condition.
Re the components, it is equipped with an original Campagnolo Super Record groupset with refined engraved details.
An icon of classic cycling. Suitable for events like L'Eroica, La Mitica or La Superba. Also a sight to warm your heart when greeting you from your wall.
