Wilier Triestina Superleggera.
One of the oldest and most prestigious Italian bicycle brands still existing, the Wilier, was founded in 1906 in Bassano del Grappa, northern Italy.

Its name is a patriotic statement, referring to the claim W l’Italia LIbera E Redenta. (Meaning: Long live Italy, free and redeemed).

When it comes to classic bicycles, there are actually few models which stick out as much as the Wilier Ramata does, undoubtedly one of the finest Italian cycles ever manufactured.
Over the years the former called 'tipo la triestina' model became the flagship of the Italian brand and a very sought-after bicycle among collectors.

Its paintwork is certainly the highlight: called "Ramata" - the Italian for copper-coated - it consists of a thin varnish over chromed tubes which creates a unique translucent paint job.

And now, Wilier is offering a brand new Ramata model to the public, the Wilier Triestina Superleggera. A tribute to a product that has made Wilier famous for the last half century.

This new collection of frames constructed and finished by the hands of skilled craftsmen represent the traditional manufacturing which helped Wilier to become the legend which it is now.
The lugged frame is made from elegant Columbus SL Niobium tubing. A modernised version of the classic SL tubes which is far stronger. All the refined details you would find on the classic Wiliers of former decades can also be found on the new Superleggera. It really is a product that nods to the past, but in completely new shiny paint, just the style it was introduced in the 40s and later taken up by the second and third generations of the Wilier family.
Undisputedly Italian. Glowing with a charm which underlines once again the love of this brand for its country, just as back in the 40s.

The Superleggera is available in different options: you can buy the frame alone or go for one of the nice Campagnolo setups. This one give you an option to choose from Campagnolo Chorus 11 Speed groupset or the high class Campagnolo Record 11 speed one.
