With the first cycling specific shoe made back in 1956, Adidas has a long tradition in cycling. Many great champions rode in Adidas shoes like Rudi Altig or Jan Ullrich, but none made bigger impact than certain Eddy Merckx. The fact that the Cannibal himself won pretty much everything in shoes with 3 stripes made them an instant hit. But it was not just the endorsement, it was also a proof of sheer quality and absolute coolnes.
This pair of Adidas Bassano comes straight from the early 90s. It has a stiff reinforced sole and high adjustability. There are laces with velcro flap over them and you can even adjust the heel cup tension!
