Description
The Bianchi Folgore is one of the most icon racing bicycles ever manufactured. The Folgore appeared in the Bianchi catalogue between 1940 and 1949 and was ridden to victories by Fausto Coppi at the 1946 Milano-Sanremo and at the 1947 Giro d'Italia.
The Bianchi Folgore is a lightweight frameset which illustrates particularly refined details like the headtube with integrated headset (common to all Bianchi racing bikes of that era), chromed lugs and fork crown, seat-tube mounted chain oiler and bottom bracket with integrated oiler.
According to the serial number 8219196 this Bianchi Folgore dates back to late 40s. The bicycle underwent a professional refurbishment to be brought back to its former glory.
Regarding the components, this Bianchi Folgore is equipped with a Campagnolo Cambio Corsa gearing system, Bianchi crankset, stem and bars, Universal brakes, Brooks leather saddle.

All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones.
