Our birdy is from 2023 and in mint condition. Additional to the standard Deore 10s equipment with hydraulic disc brakes it features high-end dynamo lighting by SON.
Riese & Müller was officially founded in 1993. It was founded by Markus Riese and Heiko Müller, who had met studying mechanical engineering in Darmstadt in 1988.
In 1992, they started working on a revolutionary design for a folding bike with the pivot points doubling up, acting as suspension. In 1993, they submitted their bike for the 1993 Hesse Innovation Award, and the Birdy won the Special Award.
What we present here is the 2023 version, with 10 speed and disc brakes. Thanks to its unique folding properties and low weight, you can take it with you easily at any time: folded together, it fits onto any form of public transport or into any car boot. And it can also be adjusted to different rider heights just as quickly as it can be folded.
Condition
used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones.
