This Cinelli Model B from 1962 is an excellent piece of cycling history. Since it entered the market, Modello B - the 'little brother' of the Modello S.C. - has been one of the most elegant and competitive bikes available. Through the decades it has changed in small details, but always remained a thoroughbred racing bike. This model's elegance and performance are legendary. Viktor Kapitanov's triumph in the olympic road race of 1960 on a Model B is unforgettable. Today, collectors around the globe are trying to get hold of good examples.
As for the components, they are of the highest quality. The shifting, headset, seatpost and the hubs are Campagnolo. The cockpit is of course Cinelli as well as the saddle. Everything is slowed down safely by a reliable set of Universal centre pull brakes and brake levers.

Condition
Used. The bicycle is in very good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals from the 1960's is all original with some signs of usage like small scratches. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! Parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones.
