Description
By the break of the new millennium, carbon frames took the flagship role in almost all major brands line-ups, and Colnago was no exception. That created a situation, that the prestigious brand from Cambiago offered frames made from three major materials at the same time. The top models from carbon fibre were already race proven. Then there were the lightweight aluminium frames, brought to perfection in the last years. And as the steel frames were also to have, as the true legacy of the brand.
This Colnago Dream is the one with an aluminium alloy frame perfected through the years. It is made of Columbus Altec2 tubing, which have the profiled and oversized cross-sections with cigar shaped main tubes. The frame set is then completed with Colnago carbon fork made by French specialist Time.
Condition
Used. The bicycle is in good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. The paintwork and decals are all original. All parts have been checked and are working fine. The bicycle went through a full checkup at Steel Vintage Bikes workshop! All parts were disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled again. The frame was checked for structural integrity and all wearing parts were replaced with new ones.
