Description
The Colnago Master is undoubtedly the evergreen of the cycling history. First released in 1983, five different versions of the Colnago Master were manufactured until 1998 ( the Master 1983, Master Più 1987, Master Olympic 1991, Master Light 1994 and Master X-Light 1998).
The Master series undoubtedly represents a peak in steel frame manufacturing, but on the other hand, also marks the end of the steel era in the bicycle industry the Master series was built with the famous Columbus Gilco crimped tubing – specifically designed by Gilberto Colombo to improve stiffness and withstand mechanical strain.
Such a frame is an ideal base for a "neo-retro" build. Classic steel frame combined with more modern components is a blend of choice for many riders and it's clear why. Steel takes care of a supple ride and elegant looks while the modern componentry provides supreme functionality and more contemporary feel of a bike.
Our Maser has been equipped with Campagnolo Record 12-speed gruppo in black, which matches the newly refurbished paint job perfectly. And with a wide selection of gears, you can tackle even the steepest climbs with (relative) ease. There is also the Campagnolo Zonda wheelset and Selle San Marco Regal saddle.
The combination of a modern groupset with a high-class steel frame is a guarantee for riding pleasures.
