Description
Colango is one of the dominant names in world cycling due to innovation. In the 1980s Ernesto began to experiment with various crimped-tube frames, to improve the stiffness of his bicycles. And in 1983 he introduced their top model Master and the legend was born. The Master was constructed with a famous star-shaped top, seat and down tube profile tubing called Columbus Gilco S4, which was designed by Gilberto Colombo. The first version of the Colnago Master was produced in the years 1983-87. In 1993 Ernesto released the later version, the Colnago Master Olympic which had the famous Precisa fork. It was available in several beautiful paint schemes.
The GEO paint scheme is a really rare one. The countries and continents have been hand painted onto the tubes, turning the frame into a world map. A true representation of how Colnago has touched all four corners of the world with its passion and dedication to cycling.
Here we are offering a beautiful Colnago Master Olympic Geo. The frameset is a Master Olympic from the mid-1990s, made of Columbus Gilco S4 star-shaped steel tubing and shining in an amazing GEO paint job. What is more, the bicycle has been equipped with a top-of-the-line Campagnolo C-Record Groupset. The highlight of which being the legendary Delta brakes!
Condition
Used. Very good condition. The frameset has been professionally restored and painted in the famous GEO paintwork. There are no dents, no rust and no cracks. All parts are working well. The following parts are new: chain, bartape, all cables. The Selle Italia San Marco leather seat is brand new as well. Fully checked at the SVB workshop in Berlin.Bicycle Size
